State Awareness ~ Leroy Cuykendall III

Hello, ABATE of Michigan spring.

May is Motorcycle Awareness month. It’s officially here. Yay. I wish the weather would break and we get some sunshine instead of all this cold snow and rain. 

Just a few things that I’ve been working on. I’ve been working at a new school and Fowlerville, Lansing, Michigan. It’s around in the middle of the State. I’ve been teaching a new class. The director is very impressed with our Awareness program and my teaching and she has asked us to come back. This is a great opportunity I’m hoping that there’s some members around that area. They can help me out on this if there’s any teachers out there that’s got some time, please reach out to me. Like I said, it’s in the Lansing, Fowlerville area. You can find my number at the beginning of the Rider. I’ve also been working with a member from 

Region 18, Brian he has been doing a YouTube video broadcast and we’re gonna be doing one very shortly for Awareness. I hope you can look it up. It’s a great way for us to get our Awareness out, maybe even sell a few signs “look twice save a life” which I’m hoping that our members have our signs out and ready for the month of May. 

Get your bikes checked out before you ride, safety first. If anybody needs any signs or Awareness, products, or would like to be able to teach a class, get a hold of me. You’ll just need to get a hold of one of their local schools drivers Ed schools, reach out to me. I’ll do the best I can to help you out. We have to get the Awareness out there and the best way is the teach our kids.
